15x10.5 8 bolt rims?

Iv seen some truck's 250s and 2500s with 8 bolt 15 inch rims. I have a set of supper swamper boggers 15 11.5 38.5 tires I bought for my Bronco and I'm thinking about putting them on my f250 diesel 92. I've seen some pictures on goggle of the calipers ground down 1/2 an inch to clear the 15s. Has someone done this or no another way of making this work?

It will be for offroad use only. I have a new set of calipers I would switch after the weekend.

Can get wheels with real shallow back spacing, so the wheel lip is as far "outside" of the calipers as possible.

Bart wheels said they don't go further than 3 1/2 inch backspacing. Think that would work... $65 a piece at summit

Thats weird... I have some 2" backspace bart wheels. 15x8's w/ 5x5.5" pattern. I needed the smaller back spacing to give a little more turning ability w/ my maddog fenderwell exit headers.

That's what they told me for 15-8 6.5 8bolt. 3 1/2 backspacing...... If someone has a link for 2 inch backspacing for 8 bolt rims that would be great I'll check them out. I've been searching around but can't find anything over 6 wide with 2 inch backspacing.

It was a special order deal directly from Bart. You aren't going to find them at summit, etc.

I did call and thats what they said... I'll call again and be more specific and really press "CUSTOM"

Custom rims? Call John at Stazworks. I had a set of double headlocks custom made and they were phenomenal..

Yes another vote for Staz wheels. If you care which you might not with Swampers but you might have trouble balancing use beads or centric balancers.
