im tryin to build a 514 and need help on a cam and head combo im looking to shoot for 700hp and will be running a c6 or th400 tranny not sure yet
it is a 1979 capri back hafed with a 3.99 gear in the rear
i wanna run a big shot on the car for nitrous
any ideas
im looking at the tfs street heads

The TFS Street heads are a very respectable set of heads and can be massaged to make 700hp easily with proper knowlege of how to port them. TFS is offering a factory CNC'd casting now and should flow the #s you need. Lem would be the man on the cam. Cool

You already have a 4.150" crank ?

ya i have a full eagle kit with a probe piston h beam rods all i have is a block and eagle kit

ya the pistons are the non scj and dont wanna fly cut them really

TFS i.m.o. with the production valve reliefs . I aint real sure about an eagle crank and nos .

cuz unless it has a 4340 steel we have found out most cast eagles are flexible to put it lightly.....
The TFS streets will get you 700 I would get ahold of Lem and visit with him about a cam, and induction system....

Cast crank and NOS not good i.m.o. is what Lem is trying to say.

another do away with the c-6 or turdbo400 and put a glide in it you will be light enough to use it and be faster and one less gear to worry about.... these engine build lots of torque no need for a 3 speed....
