New Tow-Pig
I've been on the lookout for a low mileage, Old Body Style PowerStroke for sometime now and I finally found one. 97 model,...115k,.....completely stock and near mint condition.
The only downfall,.......I had to drive 1500 miles (round trip to Kansas to get it)

I see a bunch of those around here for sale. Makes me want to put a 92 front clip on my 89 every time too. Nice truck, get to driving and go get it.

They are getting hard to get w/low mileage 7.3's. If you got one keep it.

She's a beaut' ! You lucky bugger. I love those old 7.3's....Can't kill them. My 99 F250 4x4 is from Oregon and it has 288,000 miles - runs like new.

Re: New Tow-Pig
Thanks Guys Now I know what to shop for but I don't think it would be that hard to swap front clips, has anyone ever done it on an 89 body style? I like my IDI pull plenty hard for what little I use it for and gets good mileage too.

Re: New Tow-Pig
The bumpers are the issue with the 92 and the 89. The front frame horns are a little different. The rest is a bolt on deal for the most part. I'm sure you could find pics of both on Google to see the difference.

Re: New Tow-Pig
One Day maybe. I have been wanting to do it since I got the truck, just need the time money and inclination. Was going to get rid of it but, decided I better keep it. Should have kept the Detroit too that was in it. PI's headed this way Monday also BigRig for engine #2.

True we will see if I still feel that way after I get them if one is cracked, at least I only paid the price of a single head any way and they may have a little exhaust port work by the look of the pictures, the exhaust looks very smooth.
