WTB- Ford door car

Looks like my Bronco is prob sold, so I am on the hunt for a street/strip Ford car.
Fairmont, Zephyr are high on the list, other fox body stuff as well.
$5-$6k is the budget, I am willing to travel if need be. What's out there?

I have a 1988 with a 472" BB Ford with the OLD (CJ Aluminum Heads), Power Glide, 4.10 gears. I have the Title.
I have had it for 18 years. Had it on the street for 7 years with same 460 in it with 10.8 comp and a C4.. Now it has 13.8 comp and a powerglide. It ran 10.28 on motor when it was on pump gas. you could take the comp out and a smaller cam and put it back on the street.... Very nice car inside and out.. I live in Texas south of Dallas.
I may sell the Car for that price.... But the Motor & Powerglide is another $6,500.. I have $11,000 in the Engine and $2,200 in the Powerglide.. I will be willing to Negotiate but I cant give it away. The Engine is Fresh and the tranz is brand New (Never used) But has been run on a Tranz Dyno after built.

I have a buddy with an 87 Mustang GT hatch f/s. It is a roller only, stripped out. Has an 8.8 with a 3.73 in it. Asking $500 If needed, I could probably get you a deal on a 302 and a c6 (both would need gone through).
