3. CAR WEIGHS 2850 WITH ME IN IT, LEAVE ON A 2 STEP 4200, SHIFT AT 6700 AND GOES THRU THE TRAPS AT 6750 IN GOOD AIR
4. VICTOR INTAKE CONVERTOR IS A 5500
99% OF THE TIME IT'S 1/8TH MILE ONLY. BEST SO FAR IS A 1.25 60 FT. AND 5.81 AT 118.0. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR READING MY AD AND LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING EVERYONE'S OPINIONS. SEE YOU GUYS AT THE U.S. 60 FORD RACE.

Your combo is quite similar to mine. Dominator style would be my choice. I use an 1150 since my car was noticeably slower with a 1050.

It will be faster with a dominator on it. I am going to stick my neck out and say a tenth better once it's tuned and all else adjusted for it.

AND ... Quick Fuel now offers a series of street Dominator carbs; 750, 975, 1050, 1150 for gasoline only, called "Pro Street Series".
Re: NEED HELP CHOOSING A CARB.
I talked to a quick fuel rep yesterday and he recommended one of their QFX 3 circuit 1050 carbs.Just a little unsure and want to get the right one first.I know i will have to change intakes and was thinking about the Mafia but thinking that it is to much for my combo. Thanks for the responses.
