ford racing 460 block?
im thinking about doing a new big block for the 65 bird. anybody know what kind of ci can be had with the ford racing 460 block? is there anything else out there i should look at, as far as blocks?

You can get to a 557 or so with a stock block, what are you looking to do Ted? Just a street cruiser? Grudge car?

i've got a 545 now for the 65 street/race. just wanting a race bb for when im in the mood for the 65 also.

A460 block bored 4.600, 4.5 stroke crank, TFS A460 head...............be a bad m-fer, might even outrun my ass............

There are many advantages with the aftermarket block i.e. Ford Racing A460 block. Improved oiling, strength and durability. A good investment at your power level IMO....
