I want to thank everyone for a great weekend
First I want to thank our event sponsors. Keith Fulp, Phillip Oakley, and BF Evans Ford for helping to make this happen and Kim Smiley for the off the trailer hit money . George Keown and renegade fuel for the fuel and oil jomar and quick fuel and all others that help. I also want to thank Rick Smith and gang for the awesome food. Most of all I want to thank all of you that show up every year that make this a great time.

A big thanks to you Wes and your family !
That's a lot of work to organize an event like that and you all did a great job !
Thanks to all the sponsors as well !
Without their support, it would not be possible for us to get together like this every year

I'm glad this deal went down well.Wes and I talked over the phone a few times over the last few months and I could tell he was nervous about it going down well, trying to make everyone happy w/o causing hurt feelings and all. Wes is one of the hardest working guys I know and he has a heart as big as he is.Im very proud to call him my friend. And im sure that each and everyone of you will say the same. Glad you all had a great time.

Re: I want to thank everyone for a great weekend
Wes , we are the ones that owe you a Big Thanks. Was a great time even though it was hot! It is cooler here than it was in Ky. I'll try to bring a better car next yr. that was the hardest I've worked on a car at the track in a very long time. It was much better sat.
Thanks to every body that made it happen.
To everybody on here who has not been, you need to make your plans now.
My favorite thing was was riding side by side at almost 130 mph by Wes's truck. It just don't look like it should go that fast.

Re: I want to thank everyone for a great weekend
Thank you Wes, All sponsors, US 60 Dragway, and George Keown and his buddy who drove me all the way to Phillip Oakley's shop for fuel. My family and I had a great time. Many GREAT conversations, really enjoyed those. Cole's (my son) first time in a big car making a half pass, the grinn on his face after a 1.08 60 ft. And how about the Boston Butts, my kind of a weekend

There are a bunch on the FB page:

I only took 3 pics
Should have took more.
Jeff Williams' sharp Futura Fairmont:
I like this pic.
This was the semi final Bracket 2 pairing.
The oldest Ford powered car in the race vs. the newest.
The oldest won because the newest was too quick...by .0126
Congrats to Wes for getting into the finals

Are you talking about the photos in the facebook link ?
If so, that was Jackie Littrell, Wes' daughter. She did a great job.
Not sure who the male photographer was at the track Sat.
I saw him at the starting line several times when I ran.

That's the one...the guy at the line on Sat. I figured he'd have a site.

His name is John Fisher (Bottom Bulb Imagery), he's on Facebook but hasn't posted many pics yet from the weekend.

Re: I want to thank everyone for a great weekend
BIG Thank you to Wes, sponsors and all involved in putting on this event.
As always, we had a really good time and my little boy Logan made a new friend from Pennsylvania
My car and driver were doing really well Friday until the first time run with the regular program Friday night. I cut a .0004 light and made another good pass. Unfortunately after I picked up my time slip I encountered some "Clunking" and parked it for the rest of the weekend. I believe it's in the transmission gears but won't know until I get it apart.
The Desinsitivity training at the bleachers was also a LOT of fun
Can't wait to see you guys again, maybe this Fall?

YES IT WAS ! it was a lot of fun - again. It's a relatively long trip, but, well worth it.
Hadda chance to meet more great people, and better racers.
And the track prep was good, even with the heat.
Great job Wes, and helpers !!!
