New best for us-4.76 @149.8
We have been working on this car for two years trying to get it lined out. Went to the valley on Prize fight weekend and tested on Friday. The track was awsum..... We were finally able to put some timing in the motor, not much, still leaving at 6* on the frosty. We were able to increase the leaving % of nitrous from 25% to 55% and the ramp for the nitrous from 1.4 seconds to .4 seconds. Track took it all. We were going to hit it a little harder the next pass but, they closed us down so the "Outlaw Boys" could make a final run.
Anyway we started with a 5.00 flat at 146.7, then a 4.90 at 146, then 4.91 at 146 and finally a 4.84 at 145.
Car is a 98 Roush Mustang with a BBF-C heads and one stage of N2O, fogger by Kevin Neal. Weighs 3200 lbs. Stock suspension, on M/T 275 drag slick/radials. looking for the 4.70s.
Well we made the 70s at the last OSCA outing for the year. We were at Bowling Green. Went up for another pass but heard ticking noise (the driver heard) so shut it off. got back to pits and found a leaking header gasket.
Also car was running very well at Hardinsburg at the Turkey Bash. Not that quick but, very good for Hardinsburg.

We hope to be at Hardinsburg next weekend but, will probably be on the small tires-235s instead of 275s, not sure yet. Hardinsburg hooks pretty well but, transition strip and down track groove sometimes not to good.
We know we benefited from the track conditions at the Valley with the event that was being conducted.
Thanks for the comments. I would post photo of the car if I new how to post photos. lol

No, just leave on %, increase the % up if track good. We were able to put ramp at .4 instead of 1.4 If you mean different % at different times we do that depending on track. At the Valley on the super track we dumped it all in .4

One thing we know is that the converter is to tight. Just had it loosened. It was dropping about 13-1400 rpms on the shift. Guess we will find out if that helps.

ten4. I have the eldebrock unit. leaving on 25% with the front end tight. it's blowing the tires off at the hit. so I think I'm going to try the dual ramp settings and put a little travel on the front. hitting it with a 35N

Shouldn't be having any issues leaving on almost everything that a 35N pill will do. What else is going on? trying timing yet? Shock settings, etc...

I am just amazed on the power people can put down on that 275 Pro Radial tire.

Geeze, I didn't see the last post. Motor is 610 c. in.
Got a converter from PTC had car out testing Saturday at Ohio Valley. Regular bracket program so not much prep after the 1st part. We were on Pro Drag radial 29.5.
Didn't know what the torque converter would do for sure. Leaves a lot softer then the other one. We left the % on the controller pretty low, I think 35% and the ramp started at 1.4 all in on a Kevin Neal system. Started with a 1.26 60', 1.22 60' and a 1.20 60'.
We think we need more gear, we only run 1/8 mile. Currently have a 3.90 in the rear, an 8.8 "beefed up". The 330s were all 3.25 or less. Mph was 149, 151, and 148. Last pass was the quickest at 4.86. MPH way up from 146-147 to the above numbers. Need to get it hustling in the 1st 60' .
Just about done for the year.
Got any tips on how to post photos on this site. There are some old videos on u tube under David Pouw, current car is the 98 Mustang.
