It's alive again.

Just got the old truck running again tonight.Felt great to hear it again.This blowup was pretty painfull on the wallet.It sucks to have to spend around $5000 that you don't really have to spare just to put it back together basicaly the same .I don't mind spending the money to go faster,but knowing it won't be any faster kinda bites.I'm just glad it runs again though.The only differance is steel rods instead of aluminum.Just hope my new scat rods hold up good.I want to thank Lem,Charlie,Mike, and Jetboat Bob again for taking good care of me. Wes

We're happy for you Wes! Glad you've got your engine rebuilt and it's back and running. Now, put antifreeze in it, oil it down, back off the rocker arms and let it set over the winter. You're ready to go racing next season!

I feel your pain.. Had my 545 built only to drive it up and down the street twice..





Cam broke in the middle.. All of those hours of prep and all of that time.. gone..

Thank G a farmer donated this engine.. He got a Diesel well pump motor in exchange..

Im glad your up and running Wes, you are definetly a tough competitor. If there's one thing i learned you never say aluminum rod's, while standing in JetboatBob's garage . Bobby Z

It's a 63 F100 with a 2x3 box chassis,straight axle front,4 link rear.Engine is an alcohol injected A-headed 572 with a glide. Wes
