Hey Frank!

You got mail.

Paul

P.S. I don't have the top ring down measurement but I'm going back to the shop tonight so I'll follow up with that info a little bit later via another email.  The rest of the piston info and pics are already in the current email.

This c/h for something along the lines of a 5" stroke 6.800 rod? can't say I've run accrossed this combo before,
Also "2.93 BBF pin" is that 2.93 wide, normal 460 diameter?

Hey Leroy I've been away on other business,

Yes, those pin dimensions are correct (1.040" x 2.93"). I didn't personally order these pistons and my speculatoin is that whoever did probably called Ross, placed an order for BBF pistons, and then said, "I want a 0.990" pin," at which point Ross probably put the BBF pin at 0.990" c/h.

I acquired them and was going to use them on a 4.6 stroke, 7-inch aluminum rod engine.  You can use them however you want, but note that the ring pack is very tight and up high.  Lately I've entertained the idea of using them elsewhere.  Feel free to call and discus if interested.
