Will this balancer work Empty Will this balancer work

Will this balancer,      Harmonic Damper 6.7" Balancer Professional Products 80008, work ok on a 1972 429 internal balanced engine?

Have I heard that this one has come loose in prior builds or am I thinking of another one?

Any real world experience?

I'm not so sure about the Pro Products one but the one I've seen people have trouble with coming loose is the ATI at least when used in a stroker application.

Yes it will fit.
It is a good replacement for the oem damper when SFI is not needed.

I use them on lower cost crate engines with great success. I have run into a couple that fit loosely. I simply returned them as defective.
