Sorry i got more dumb newb ?'s im almost ready to put my 545 in my 93 fox. Im running motor plates my question is when i put the motor in to mock it up do i level the car on jackstands and what degree do i put the motor at confused

I set the rear end where I wanted it then aligned the tranny to it.. I'm using a tall Ford Truck tranny mount..

Works for me..

unless you move you rack down you will end up with about 3* on the engine, then for me I just used a 5.0 soild trans mount but I keeped the rubber mounts on the crossmember. This mount will work with either a glide or a C-4, you just have to drill a couple new holes in it to fit the glide. As the glide if I remember correct is only about 1/4 longer from block to mount than a C-4. Either way keeping the rear end factor centered and the trans at factory center all you have to do then is correctly line up the front of the engine, makes for a simple install. Also if you keep a tab on the end of the front plate makes it nice.

I bought my plates used I wish mine were long enough for that I'm running a c6 will the crossmember work or do I have to move it back
