I have been keeping these for that some-day FE project that I just don't see in my stable anytime soon.

These were off a running/driving 428 CJ engine in a mustang. PO removed them because he wanted to go to aluminum heads since his deal was a drag car.

I wanted them because they have never been rubbed on and are nice original heads.

Date Codes: Jan 31 1969 and Feb 27 1969

Heads are currently disassembled for buyer inspection but will come with springs/valves..etc. The guides seemed good to me.

Personally, I would lap valves, assemble, and run it but of course the buyer will do with them what they wish.

No rocker shaft assemblies but double springs and damper spring with matching retainers are included.

Look to be original valves and they are in nice shape.

No other FE CJ parts.

Btw these heads were oiled and put on the shelf in a climate controlled garage.

double springs and retainers included - not sure if all the locks are present...didn't count them.

No broken ears, no previous repairs, no porting, and look to have not been decked before.

It looks like the spring seat was cut to fit the dual springs and shims are included with the rest of the hardware.

Also the valve guides look to be newer and all in the same shape.
