Rear mounted radiator
Anyone running a trunk mounted radiator in a door car? I see them mounted in p/u beds all the time, thinking about moving mine to the trunk to free up some space up front along with moving some weight to the rear. I realize water is 8lbs gallon so the extra required & the lines would add some weight overall.
Not sure of what size lines I would need if I follow through or if it may cause a tech issue at the track.
Any input appreciated
Thanks, Sheldon G.

Re: Rear mounted radiator
IIRC for a door car the NHRA book in the general regs says something like "radiators must be installed in stock location for body style used" or something to that effect . I think dragsters are another story tho and have their own requirements.
If it's not going to be a NHRA legal car, or legal in a specific class, then you can probably mount it wherever you want outside of the driver compartment.
