Ran my fairlane today with the warmed over 552 I went from 10.6 compression to 13.4 had lem Evans grind a new cam added a 1250 quick fuel carb and ported the scj heads per Scotty j instructed me to man this thing has a ton more power than it did before. It was weak as a kitten before now it's a runner. Best time today was 6.30 in the eighth had a 1.30 short time but it's blowing through the convertor badly. It's a cheap ass eBay convertor for the Ole c6 if you are thinking about buying one from pgraceshop don't do it I told the guy on the phone what I had and I think he just sent me a general off the shelf 4500 convertor it stalls around 6100 Foot braking but all in all I'm pretty stoked I think it may have 6.0 in it after I swap to a better convertor and play with timing and jetting
