Windage tray on 429 truck engine
Building a 429 for my street / trailer puller.
Have a canton perferated windage tray and since my truck is being built for just the street, 5,000 rpm max, torque only, 5 spd ZF tranny,
is there an advantage to not using the windage tray to keep the cylinders oiled or is there a definate advantage to using the tray
in my situation?

IMO, any BBF will benefit from attention to oil/windage control. If you have it, use it.
