Diamond pistons sold?! Empty Diamond pistons sold?!

Post  68formalGT May 4th 2017, 6:41 pm

I heard today that Diamond Pistons was bought out by the same company that owns JE pistons. Is this a good thing or not? Will it make wait times for pistons longer?

Another "big corporation " that knows NOTHING about piston manufacturing recently bought "Performance Motorsports Inc" that owned Wiseco , JE , K1 , and Innovate. The next purchase was Diamond , Trend. These buyouts are rarely positive.

Hopefully, they'll keep the same designers on board so quality don't suffer!!

Can you say "Venture Capitalism" and how much money they think they can bleed from them before each eventually merges or closes the doors.

Seen it all way to often in this automotive business.
