New position at work
New position with in Ford.. ( Field Service Engineer )
My area will be Northern Florida, Southern Georgia, and Southern Alabama. ( about 30 dealer-ships )
I was thinking,,, For me the best location to live would be on the Southern Alabama / Georgia border. Which would keep me centrally located with in all Three states.
My question to folks in the area..
Where along the area in which I'm talking about is a good place to look at for a home?
I have been looking but not sure what areas are "good" and which are "bad"?
I do have my requirements, Need 5 or more acres, needs to have a pole barn, (or shop, or monster garage), all the other things also, little town with grocery store, hardware store, gym, decent schools, etc.....
any help from the southern guys?

I'm in Monroeville, AL...about midway between Mobile and Montgomery. Been here almost 10 years. When we shopped for a house with a few acres and a big garage, we pretty much got skunked in 3 counties...wound up buying the house and building the 40x60 garage. I do think you'll have better luck shopping near the GA line, tho.
Small town Alabama is nice living but there are a LOT of items that guys like us won't find locally. Amazon is my friend.

Some where around Lake Eufaula you should be able to find something. It is on the Georgia / Alabama line plus close to the Florida line. I know you like boating it one of the biggest lakes around South Georgia plus it has a river running through it.

Yup....The place I bought would've cost about 3 times as much if it was in Florida.

Congrats Adam on the new job! Don't have any help for you as I live in South Tn by the Ga line, but if you come through again with that big motor stuffed into the back of a little ranger let me know, that was one of the funniest things I had ever seen over at Jet Boats
