Prayers for Wayne Pearce.

Hi everyone.
Need a shout out for some prayers for my dear freind Wayne. He had a stroke a week ago.
Hes in rehab right now and progressing good.
Please put him in your prayers.

Me too Rich. Just a great Guy. While I was in N.Y. working we met up. Bought us lunch at Applebees. Wouldnt let me pay a dime and the tab was like $ 75 bucks!

Thank you, guys for your thoughts, and prayers! I spent 13 days between Albany Medical Center, and Sunny View rehabilitation center before being able to go home. I've graduated from a wheel chair, to a walker, to a cane, I'm making slow, but steady progress - and if I keep it up, I might be able to drive "SAWDOFF" again in a few weeks. I'm ashamed to say it, but I started off by feeling sorry for myself, but once I saw all the people, young, and old who where in far worse straits than I am - well, lets just say I thank God for watching over me, and rewarding me with a great family, and a terrific group of friends!!

Glad to hear you are coming along Wayne.

I had a stroke 18 years ago ... temporarily lost the use of my right side, lost at least half of my vocabulary and some other motor functions however, some good things came from it. Although I eventually regained full use of my right side, I taught myself how to use my left in the interim and I learned lots of alternative words for what I was thinking so, I could somewhat express myself.

Sometimes, unfortunate circumstances show us just how good we can become at improvising.
