C6 Valvebodies
I need of C6 valvebodies , as it seems that I've exhausted all the transmission dismantler stock . Vb's need to have the detent in the vb casting #'s on the upper half C8AP and on the lower half C7AP , let me know what you have and we'll talk price as I need 50 vb's at least

Re: C6 Valvebodies
What years of C6's have that valve body? 1967 to 1974? Seems like the going price for C6 transmissions are around or over $200 for a core now.

Frank,
I wish I could help, only have D7 and later VB's. For all the recommendations and info you have afforded me on my C6 ?'s, if I find one I would gladly send it to you for just the cost of shipping. I will keep an eye out for one, I realize it doesn't help you out much, but it's the best answer I have right now.

Frank, is the missing detent the only thing keeping you from using the later vb's? Or is there also other differences making the later vb's unusable?

Re: C6 Valvebodies
the D2AP I use when building Custom transmissions as I can double up the detent spring and make sure the internal trans linkage is not tweeked by tightening the manual linkage against the 2nd gear band adjusting bolt and it's easy to do ! and then the manual valve in the vb will be in the wrong spot causing lock ups on gear changes and people don't like reading instructions

Yes there is a point on the slider valvebodies than can lock 2 gears at once if not right between the valve and the detent. I have my measurements I do every one
