I'm kinda thinking it might look a little weird with 17's on the front & 15's on the rear. Why not just put 17's all around, or 17's on the front & 17+ on the rear?
17's are on the front to clear the brakes otherwise I could have stayed with my 15" Pro Stars. There is a million Mustangs running around with 17" and 18" fronts and 15" slicks on the rear. You can't see most of the rear tire anyways so I think it will be fine.If I go to a full street tire I will run an 17" or 18" then. The 18" dark stars and tires jump quite a bit in price as well.

I'd like to do a OEM rear brake but all the new stuff is too big for 15" wheels. I could do an older 11" Mustang deal or I might just let wizard do a Wilwood deal that way I don't have to mess with it. I will have to remember to ask them when I drop the car off.
I have one of the GM/Disc Metric caliper deals from Speedway on the back of my Futura. Happy with the fitment and install so far... It'll be awhile before I drive on it.

So what rear suspension design/layout did you and the guys at Wizard decide to go with?

They feel they can fit a triangulated 4 link in there but we will see once they get under the car because there is not a lot of room for the uppers bars. I am not overly worried about it. I think for my goals it is going to be more about packaging. There are several different suspension types that will get the same end result so what ever fits.

Re: mini tub my 56
It seems people that have upgraded to a Morrison chassis with a triangulated 4 link say they ride is terrible (of course ride is subjective) but I'm not to shocked with the upper control arm being so short. So when I dropped the car off I talked to Jason and decided on doing a traditional 4 link but with Currie Johnny Joints. He had never used them but I have heard good things about them from 4wd guys. This will allow suspension articulation without bind. Will it work? I don't see why not but we can always change the ends out later if not.
They took their measurements and designed a 4 link to fit my chassis and still keep the back seat.

Yes they are going to build it so they can fit in as much stock floor pan as possible. The cell will be mostly if not all under the trunk floor with a filler neck in the stock location. They finished the floor and tubs and were mocking up wheel placement this afternoon so next week should be the rails and rearend I guess. They initially said 3 weeks and they will be a little over I think but not 6 months like some places.

The filler neck is in the stock location and they made factory cover in the trunk removable so you can access the fuel hat.

Re: mini tub my 56
I hope to go pick it up tomorrow. I have to plumb a new fuel system and get the driveshaft figured out before it can go anywhere.
Thanks for the comments.
