Need help with CR goal Empty Need help with CR goal

With my decision to go with a 460 build I will need to keep the comperssion at a streetable level so I need to re-evaluate my parts selection. I already have a set of d0ve heads that I'm determined to use along with a victor intake with a dominator carb pad. Next is piston selection, I'm looking for a forged set of dished pistons that will keep me around 10.5 to 11:1 CR and still maintain good quench. It would be nice to get a set of off-the-shelf slugs to stick in the motor but I know thats not always possible. Any help I can get with this would be great!

Stock stroke I take it. Here ya go......

Probe Industries SRS Forged Pistons - Ford 460 Dish Top -11.0cc

It gives ya a 10.8:1 compression.
Call Lem he can give you a hell of a deal, I know I priced them through him, and the pistons are build of good materials like diamonds.

By streetable... do you mean pump gas, and if so, what octane? Are you willing to mix fuel?

86cc - 9.72
100cc - 8.74
I'm guessing a 9.3 compression for a 94cc chamber

Here is on for ya, it's a flat top...

Probe Industries SRS Forged Pistons - Ford 460 Flat Top -3.0cc

86cc - 10.41
100cc - 9.27
Maybe a 9.8 compression on a 94cc chamber

It's all on coast high performance if you wanna look. I just bought the scat forged 521 kit with probe pistons for my SCJ motor.
