AFR head exhaust flange

So since AFR specs the Felpro 1420 exhaust gasket, am I safe in assuming that headers with CJ sized flange will work (and seal) on them?

Yes. CJ flange.
The 280 heads come with std location. Std location and raised .250" as an option on the 295's and +.250" on the 315's if memory serves.
