do not know nothing about the boss parts but I thought he had a lot of cool parts. if it wasn't for rebop or cottage industry redo of muscle car parts our old shit would be scrapped out by now. just not enough of original affordable parts to be had....jmho,,,,,

the boss 429 heads and rockers are a direct knock off of jon kaase heads.in china R&D means recieve an duplicate.at what point is this consider theft of intellectual property.or just a plain ripoff.

$150 cheaper than Kaase's heads and you have no idea what you are getting with these. Who ever buys them gets what they deserve if their junk grenades. I'll spend the few extra dollars and get a well known product.

My thought is there is a rat at the foundry. It takes a significant amount of work to reverse engineer a cylinder head from a finished product. I honestly don't see the Chinese being that industrious. I think they're lazy, got their hands on some casting/tooling info and looked for a way to make a quick buck from the USA...
But who knows. The SCJ and P-51s haven't been copied yet so maybe they are reverse engineering it...

the first time i saw the auction they were listed as KAASE STYLE heads.now it just says K style heads.so there intention was to steal his design and profit from Kaase design and development.

The Chinese are masters at reverse engineering which is even more reason for the President take a stand and renegotiate the lop sided trade deal .

whats not to like?
stands are not cast on the heads,makes setting up valve train better. Can shim up the stands, not relying on just push rod length .
stock rockers bolt on,miller rockers bolt on if you want to run his, AR rockers bolt on.Easier to install jesels.
comes with larger valves, can be ordered with A 441 intake port. Will make more power then a jk head out of the box

Saw those on eBay a few days ago. Rocker arms have been on there for a few weeks now... Looks like decent stuff but I'll stick with the original Ford casting...

My take on the whole thing is if you are building a $16-20k motor and trying to save $400 on something major like heads or rocker arms (critical components) then you are probably going to get what you deserve.....

Pro Comp is nothing but a scum bag copy cat company that contributes zero to the sport.... they do not innovate a damn thing only rip off others hard work.
And to you guys that think this kind of crap is great, you are killing the industry!
The guys that actually put the time into developing these great products are not going to waste their time knowing they cant even recover the damn mold costs because off assholes ripping them off.
Ever wonder why we don't have good paying manufacturing jobs in America anymore......... Thank yourself next time you buy the Chinese Garbage.
