Rocker arms for the Afr BBF heads
Does anyone know of rockers that fit the AFR BBF heads besides T&D or Jessel?
Re: Rocker arms for the Afr BBF heads
Aren't they supposed to take standard Stud Mount Stuff?

Website didn't say so I called them. Tech support said No to standard and had to use t&d and jessel only. Then I called Scotty Johnson after I posted this and he said bs, standard rockers work just fine.

I've built several AFR headed engines with standard BBF 1.73:1 Lunati rockers. They work just fine.

Thanks Guys. Lem, didn’t have time at work to search for your build to see what you used.
Re: Rocker arms for the Afr BBF heads
We have had excellent results with both of the comp XD rockers. 1830 and 1838-16 1.8 ratio. A couple of times there was some ever so slight push rod to passage contact at the top of the passage with the 1.73 ratio rockers that does not present itself with the 1.8's.
Lunati and crane gold work nicely as well on the aluminum side of things.
I even test fitted the PRW steel rockers we use on the entry level HFT crate builds.
