How much timing are you guys running with methanol (Ron's terminator) with an engine combo like this? Particularly interested in the quys that have dyno'ed or track tested with this set-up. Obviously track only solid roller deal 15.5:1 compression

Also what would be your Alky tune-up? Jet and pill size with 0 1/2 pump

About 26 degrees total is near normal with alcohol.

After that comment of only 26 degrees! I had to do a little studying. This is a good read that may explain things.

32* - 34* with gas. Seems strange to have 6* - 8* less for alky.

I’ve ran low as 26* with my Motorsport headed 526”. I think my 605” is on 32* but really can’t recall.

On the 526 you must have had a very strong ignition system or running lean. What ignition system are you running?

I track tested it very thoroughly and it ran best @26*. I was told by others it must need fuel but it slowed down with more fuel every time. Ignition is a 7al2 with pro power coil. It ran 5.40 in 100* weather.

probably not. I haven’t ran it since the last time you saw it at us60. I’ve gotten into the truck pulling sickness but still haven’t give up on racing yet.
