My project is progressing (Holley Hyperspark install on 429).  When I removed the carb, I noticed the attached.  2 holes, one with a rusted/broken pipe on the passenger size of the intake manifold.  Haven't been able to find anything in the manual, or online as to what it is.  It didn't affect the performance with the carb, but should I close it with a plate for the EFI?

Are you referring to the removable "stove" which is bolted over the exhaust crossover where a couple tubes go for getting hot air to an automatic choke...?

That sounds right. The carb that was on it had an electric heated choke on the same side. I’m guessing I can just close it off. I’ve seen a couple photos on the interwebs that have a plate over the port. Thought it might be some sort of emissions thing, but I think you are right. I thought I had attached a photo. Might be waiting for moderator approval. Don’t do enough of this forum stuff to know how it works.
