Minimum .120" cylinder wall thickness unless you fill the water jacket to just below the water pump holes.

I am sure someone has taken the chance with less but, I would not recommend it.

If the block will clean up at + .030 .040 or .060" go that way and save yourself the time and money of a sonic check. No magic in a .080" over bore at that power level.
