460/C6

I picked up a 40k mile 460/C6 to though in my mustang. Also have some old as cast C9VE heads laying around to at least gain valve adjust-ability and raise the compression a bit. I guess I have built a lot of high end engines but never a stockish one. I am looking for recommendations.  Any tips tricks someone can offer to try to pull 1hp/ci on cheap gas? Car should be about 3k lbs. so that should be good enough for a driver.

Edit: I have a Big block bell c-4 I could use. what are you opinions of that for this low of hp and light vehicle.

I would definitely go with the c4 with that hp range.
