Why not switch to hydraulic setup ? Mcleod makes some .

Personally I’ll never run another McLeod hyd TOB. I had issues with 2 of them, the second of which had about 200 miles on it after being rebuilt buy McLeod. In all fairness the instructions they provided never said anything about installing a mechanical limiter on you’re clutch pedal to prevent overtravel of the TOB. This scenario may have been part of my issues but in all of the conversations I had with them they never mentioned this tidbit of info. It wasn’t until I read the install instructions from Tilton that I had the “ah ha” moment. Just my experience.

I use a McLeod flywheel and dual disc clutch and love them both, just no love for their TOB’s.

If your installing this in a mustang or torino the factory bells didn't have a provision for the z-bar either they used a bracket that bolted on using 2 of the bellhousing to block bolts.If it was in galaxie the bell had a boss on the side that was drilled and tapped to accept the ball stud.The bells all had the the boss they just weren't drilled and tapped if used in a unibody car.
