Progress with the back, while I wait for rear to come in
We have room for a good size tire now...18" section width will fit in there.

After some careful measuring I tacked on the 4 link brackets and set the rear....it looks I may have to twist the housing to point up a little. I'll do that once the motor/ and trans is set...axle centerline and crank centerline are just about level at this point

The bends came out good today miming and fitting now. After the cage work, I will move on to the strut towers and front end

More cage updates. The door bars were a real chore, both were different, I also had to deal with the body itself being different on both sides and not square at all. 1964 Ford tolerances were loose!

I made the tubs out of rolled steel
I hope that o devise some kind of fuel cell mount and parachute mount with the tubing in the rear
The wheel wells were stretched only 3 inches for the relatively small tires I will be using

Motor plate shot.
Engine was set up as low and far back as possible.
K member spacers were made to gain oil pan/ steering rack clearance.

Hopefully no more going backwards. Test fitting the trans tunnel and the re work of the front end.
