stroker kit question
ok guys just trying to get some honest input on this, but I am looking in the near future to buy a stroker kit. I am looking to go to 521 ci and I am looking to get around 725-750 hp on pump gas. I will be either using the p51 or SCJ heads for sure. I am just wondering what kit you would use and why. I am considering the scat and the eagle kit, but if anyone has any other suggestions please lets hear them. I don't want to sacrafice quality over cost, but I am still trying to do this in a budget. thanks paulie.

Re: stroker kit question
this engine will be going into a bracket/street car. the street driving will be minimal just going to the local hangouts about 10 miles the furthest.
it will have a c-6 behind it with convertor and gear to match H/C/I combo.
right now the car weighs 3280 with a small block and will still see some wieght reduction before i'm done.

ok, why are they bad?
I have never used eagle, but while doing some research I was looking into this kit and it seemed like a more complete kit.
I have used Scat in the past with 0 problems and I am currently using a Scat 331 kit making 465 hp natrual with a 125 shot.
I really do want to stay with sponsers to this site, because I greatly appreciate the knowledge and hat the big box stores. some items I may get from a local shop if they do decide to sponser me for obvious reasons, but they mainly deal with chebbys and don't have much knowledge on Fords.
so any help and advise here with this topic is much appreciated and will be taken whole heartedly.
thanks for all the advise this far and for future advise ahead of time.
this is my first big block project and I am looking forward to doing this right the first time not wanting to sacrafice quality for lack of cash, but I am still looking to do this on a budget.

Re: stroker kit question
hi paulie
i myself would go with a scat
i have ran a few scat rotating assembly's
with no issues
i would for shure stay away fron a eagle crank
it just seems there quality just isnt there for the bbf cranks
you can by a kit
but might be better off buying crank rods and pistons seperate
cause i dont think scat or eagle offer a piston with the relocated vales that the
kasse scj's or the p51's have
adney is a good source for this
as well as lem evans
you will be happy with eather
but i would defently get with lem on the pistons
if not the whole deal
sounds like a cool project
and you wont regret the BIG BLOCK

Because Blake's Eagle crank thought it was a jump rope and jacked a bunch of bearings................
Get with Adney and get a forget Scat crank and a set of H beams and be done with it.
