What should I be looking for to put in a positrac
I have a '74 Gran Torino with a '70 Lincoln 460. When I bought the car it did not have posi traction. I'm looking to put one in and was looking for some guidance. Thanks in advance.

How do I determine my gear ratio?
I'm going to use my Gran Torino as an everyday driver. I'd like it to be quick off the line but not real interested in top in speeds. I will occasionally go on the hiway to travel to car shows. 100-200 miles away. Any suggestions for gears?

Detroit Locker worked great in my ‘72 Torino. 3.70 rear gear. FMX tranny.

3.50 gears and "billet" traction lock from epay ( around $300) hard to beat.

I would also go for the Tru-Trac ... especially for everyday driving.
