1.5". Doesn't sound like much, but when first did the swap, I was able to use the stock '83 hood with the factory scoop.

Thanks i might have to try those it might give me some needed clearance for the Dominator Carburetor!!

I actually went with 2" spacers and don't regret it one bit. I went as far as welding the long section in place.

I made them myself. I used 1/8" x 2"x2" square tube.
