Re: how big ???
The feeling seems to be to go as big as you can. The cubes will make you happy!!
With the big cubes you can use the heads you have and go bigger with the heads and cam down the road if you want to.

Re: how big ???
Easy and safe, would be the .030 over bore with any of the available stroker cranks. The 4.14/4.15 stuff is usually an offset ground stock crank, and the 4.3 and 4.5" are the most popular aftermarket cranks. Any of the above will do just fine. The best is always subjective, and will depend on your goals. If you have a set ET you are shooting for, the more cubes, usually the more torque the motor will make. On the flip side, if you have more torque than your chassis can handle you are not going to get the full potential of the motor, and possibly destroy some stuff on the way. Hope this helps.

If either of the Stevens or Mr. Rahn were to offer me an engine of theirs, I'd be all over it in a flash. Nice people and know their stuff when it comes to these engines.

Thanks for the kind words Schmitty..
This is the 466 I built for one of my crew guys...A429 heads, victor intake, etc, etc... It's for sale again on the "other" site. He got out of racing and sold his car...You can't build a good motor for what he is trying to sell it for..
