Need your thoughts and prayers for one of our brothers..........
Hey guys, one of our brothers (429stang) was admitted to the hospital for chest pains, I'm guessing this morning, as this is when I got the message... Robert told me that the Doc's think he may have a blockage somewhere... I've done several transactions with him over the past month, and he's a great guy with a great wife... Let's all keep him and his family in our thoughts & prayers as they go through these trying times... Keep your head up Robert, we love ya man...
Thoughts and prayers brother, from the Roope's...

Hey guys, I got a text from Robert, and he said the doc's found fluid around his heart... He said they told him it could turn out to be nothing, or the start of heart failure... He had sky-high blood pressure too @ 180/105 ... I told him to get some rest & that we're all pullin' for him, and send him our thoughts and prayers... I'll keep ya'll updated as I hear...

Pericardial effusion. After having open heart surgery last Dec. I made it a point to learn a little more about the old pump. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Pericardial effusion (per-ih-KAHR-de-uhl e-FYU-zhun) is the accumulation of excess fluid around the heart.
The heart is surrounded by a double-layered, sac-like structure called the pericardium. The space between the layers normally contains a very small amount of fluid.
Pericardial effusion is often related to inflammation of the pericardium due to disease or injury, but pericardial effusion can occur when there is no inflammation. Pericardial effusion can also result from the accumulation of blood after a surgical procedure or injury.
When the volume of fluid exceeds the pericardium's "full" level, pericardial effusion puts pressure on the heart, causing poor heart function. If left untreated, pericardial effusion can cause heart failure or death.

Got a text from Robert today... The tests all came back negative as to weather he had any type of heart attack or not... Just the fluid around his heart causing a strain on the heart... His B/P is under control now, and they're doing a CT Scan to see if they can find out where the fluid's coming from... Condition is improving though, which is good...
More later, as I get it...
