D3 heads and Zf 5 speed
I am in need of some information and hoping someone within this forum could help me. I am getting ready to install a 472 using D3 heads along with a ZF5 speed and 4407 transfer case in my late son's '95 F150. I am wanting to use full length headers, but not sure of what will work since the ZF 5 speed came in the F-series trucks at the same time as the EFI heads, so no D3 head-ZF5 manual transmission combo's were ever available-as far as I know. If someone has installed an earlier model 460 w/D3 heads with a Zf5 speed in an F-series 4x4, PLEASE ADVISE if possible, would like to know what header brand and/or part number were used. Thank you in advance. Todd

Thank you for the reply! Looks like they build headers that will fit my application. The fender exits may open up other exhaust options, honestly never considered fender exits. Thanks again
