Quench, how much?
Got started assembly the new engine the other day. Installed rotating assembly, and trying to decide on head gasket thickness. It's a 4.5 stroke 6.7 aluminum rod, diamond 14.6 cc dome Pistons are in the hole .012/.013 . Cyl heads are 360 cc tfs a460 with 87 cc chamber. Will be running nitrous- up to about a 250/300 shot. Plan on .041/.045 Cometic head gaskets. Which will give me .054/.058 quench. Grp told me rods would grow .006/.008 at temp. Which leaves .044/.050 quench. Or should I go a little more? Thanks cory

.051" cometic would be better with aluminum rods. Nitrous doesn't like the piston real close to the head.
