Newbie to forum but not to 429/460
My first experience with a 429/460 was in 1975 when i bought a very very low mile 1968 Tbird from a elderly lady after shop she had change oil said her engine was seized. Gave 300.00 for TBird
Towed the car home & put it up on ramps and put a breaker bar on crank bolt.
Engine would not turn.
For some reason tried counterclockwise and heard a noise coming from starter. Pulled starter to find it had stuck and locked engine. One new starter and of course it fired and ran like a million bucks.
I dropped the 429 in my 1946 Ford and dropped
A 390 into Tbird for my daily driver.
After too many 429/460 vehicles to count including 429 cj/scj torinos & cyclones a ‘69 B9 and going 14 yrs without one i now find myself having 3 floating around.
A current build is a twin turbo 540 b9.
It’s been gathering dust a year or 2 but getting back on it in a week or so.

Looks like I may have figured out how to post pics from PC. No luck from phone yet where most of the photos are.
