Stack Mechanical Injection
Does anyone know if anyone ever made a mechanical injection setup (think Algon, Hilborn, etc.) for a 429/460? I know there was a setup for a B9, but what about for a regular head?

Not Mechanical ...
Re: Stack Mechanical Injection
I have called everyone I can think of today. Kinsler. Jim Inglese. Alky Diggers. Nobody has anything, nobody wants to make anything work.
I thought this would be a lot easier than it is. There are brand new timing covers available already setup for the cam spud drive, but there are no intakes??????
Of course Hillborn used to make it, but they sold out to Holley and you know how that goes.

Yeah…… basically no more hilborn
It would be expensive but you could probably do the aluminum in billet and use Butterfly’s and hardware that’s a available
Might talk with the mfg that has the electronic version and get it stripped?

Yes, Algon. 1980ish I bought an engine that had it. I swapped it off and put a T.R. and carbs on it.
I haven't seen one before or since. Iron cj/scj heads.
Re: Stack Mechanical Injection
There was a guy just a few years back, somewhere in Oregon, who was piecing together complete mechanical stack systems made to order, using our front cover & hex drive, a Blue Thunder intake manifold, etc.blykins wrote:Does anyone know if anyone ever made a mechanical injection setup (think Algon, Hilborn, etc.) for a 429/460...regular head?
Here are a couple of pics:
Not sure where he is now or what he might be doing, or if I could even find his contact info, but you might be able to put together something similar yourself.

Did you try AlkyDigger? They bought a lot of the Hilborn stuff.

you may have to build your ownif you find an original early injection set up,the cost would be crazy!
here is a link to what kinsler has for bbf.of course, there maybe a slight delay in getting one.
