Wanted to say hello to my people Empty Wanted to say hello to my people

Post  jones December 8th 2022, 1:42 pm

I just wanted to say hello to my peeps, I have really been missing the community. I still have my 84 F150 4x4 project with the Jet Boat Bob Built 521 and Broader C6. I have been debating on selling the engine and transmission as I need something to drive around.

I don't want to tell all my personal business or get all mushy But! I lost one of my eyes and its gotten progressively harder to stand / walk for periods of time and lost my job. (haven't been able to find anything since.) The worse part has been the depression! (I know everyone here has experienced depression at some point in time.)

At one time I hoped I could find someone to help me do the work required to finish the project. All of my neighborhood kids have grown-up and not interested in hanging out in the shop anymore. So the project has just been sitting in the shop. I no longer want to do any racing so I have been thinking about selling the engine and transmission for another 80-86 F150, since I already have a bunch of chassis and interior parts.

Jones nice having you back I know how you fill about your truck. My Ranger has just been sitting in my shop for the last few years. I can't decide if I want to put it back road ready that's means pulling the engine out and another set of pistons to lower the compression or just saling it. Don't know how much it would take you to run pump gas or what. Just make it a weekend cruiser and drive it around a little.
