BBF Volvo 945 Wagon build

Hello group. I am new to the BBF world and I am hoping I can get some incite from you all. My Volvo 945 wagon currently has a worn out 93 Ford 5.0 EFI and a tired AOD transmission that I am currently pulling out. I recently purchased a 79 Cougar that was written off due to a damaged frame from an accident. The car has a low mileage rebuilt 460 and a freshened up C6. So, my plans are swapping in the drivetrain into my Volvo. I have a lift in my shop, and I have access to a CNC laser, CNC turret punch press, and CNC press brakes. I can also weld so I should be able to fit this in with some minor problems that can be rectified. The Volvo has quite a larger engine compartment, but the transmission tunnel may need some persuasion with a dead blow hammer. Cheers!

I almost bought a Volvo wagon like yours except it was white, but I had a older friend at work needing a car so I let him get it. I was going to do the same thing to it take out the 4 cylinder and put in a big block.
