Does anyone know where to get a dipstick and tube for the rear sump pan with a push in style tube. I’ve looked all over the internet and haven’t found any websites that look legit that says they have it. Or are there any that will work from other engines?

That’s a lot of what I’m finding. Stuff that should fit and may work but nothing specific to the 460.

Ford Performance Parts used to have them; maybe not anymore.

Yea I hear you Brother. That Second FleeBay Link is Insinuating A Ford Performance Part # Number It Seem's?

Here's a Couple of Pictures of My D9 Truck Engine with a Screw in Dip Stick.

Man It Sure Resembles the Second FleeBay Link. I Can't Say it Will Work with 100% Certainity Though.

That Bronco Grave Yard is a Good Place Also for This Kind of "Stuff". I Doubt It's Ecomnomical (Inexpensive) though, Either.

Hells Bells That FleeBay Dip Stick I Linked is Popping up on the Bar for 39 Bucks for a 5.0 Mustang and the same part number!

I will Have to Look at SVO/FRPP Parts Catalog I Guess for Part Numbers.

Maybe in This One? 2010

http://www.chromwerk.at/PDF/Ford/2010-pp.pdf

If It Where Me, I Would Just Call Paul Kane At High Flow Dynamic's and See if He Has One. If So Pay Him and Get it in 3-5 Days at Likely a Very Fair Price. Cool

It seems they only sell the complete swap kit with the pan that I’ve found.

I have an email sent to Jeff’s bronco grave yard. I’ll give Paul a call this week and see if he has anything.

After talking to Paul I think I’m going to tap mine and add a tube and use one of the front sump dipsticks that I have. Dipstick and tube Img_6210

You Kinda Lost Me.

Are You Going to Plug the Oil Pan Hole?

Then Use a Timing Cover with the Dipstick through it?

The Reason I ask is because I Have a Threaded Truck Pan and I was Considering Using one of My Timing Chain Front Covers and Dipstick.

If I go that Route I guess I would have to remark the dipstick for proper level though with the Truck Type Pan.

^ Or Maybe Not and it shows the correct level also?

No I was going to tap the pan and use some adapters then get the tube the correct length to use the dipstick I have.
