That’s a safe shelf cam, just make sure to use some better springs then the 954-16’s
And don’t use the cheap comp lifters. Get some Bushed Morels or Crowers, they are not cheap but much better parts for a longer service life
FWIW i've been using the Comp Solid Roller Lifters but have changed them once or twice and have a new set now i might change this winter i haven't had any problems with them!!Although i don't drive my car much and haven't raced it since probably 2012 but do drive it on the street!!
