Haiti Help For the Children.

[b] First let me say I did run this by Nick and he said to go for it. Second , I do respect anyone who has ill feelings torwards this kind of help because of the shape of our own country in this day and age.

Bill Wilson, the founder and pastor of MetroMinistries in Brooklyn NY has asked for our help. Bill also is my good friend, he bought my 65 Galaxie off of me, numerous parts off of Lem and Charlie, and a pretty high dollar engine off of Phillip Oakley. not to mention parts off of other members of the site previously. Bill not only bought my car, but in turn let me mechanic for him as well as drive the car for him for 2 years. A really cool deal on my behalf.

Bill has a School in Haiti for underprivledged children, it was destroyed. He also has a team of missionaries that run the school for him, all have survived the quake but some with very severe injuries. The children of Haiti are in dire need of support, both medically, and nourishment wise. He has put together 4 ships that will be heading for Haiti in the up coming week with medical supplies, food and water. How he has done that, I really don't know but he never ceases to amaze me. He strongly beleives he has almost enough donations to fill all 4 of the ships as of this time. He has had some major help from oil companies donating necessary and much needed fuel for the ships although it is going to come up short. MetroMinistries main goal is to leave no child behind in Haiti and they are in dire need of cash donations whether it be $1 or $100. Each and every will help.

Bill does not know that I am posting this, however he did ask that I spread the word and the money will be spent where it needs to be, not some government run political paper trail. Their operation is a non profit one. I will give my personal gaurantee that Bill will make sure the money goes directly to the children of Haiti.

Ok, why is the e-mail address needed? I tried to donate and it wouldn't let me without my e-mail. I'm used to being spammed everytime I donate to a charity, and I 'm a little wary.
