Long Time Coming...Gonna' Dyno This Monday-2/8
Finally getting the new mill done...it's been a while since the yellow car made some smoke and noise. Looks like we'll be ready for a trip to KY this year!
Anyone care to take a guess at the numbers? I'll buy the winner a beer!
557-a-429 heads
4340 internals
around 15-1
Don't have the cam specs here but, .808-.802ish lift
1150 dommy on gas
Just a good 'ol bracket build.

Re: Long Time Coming...Gonna' Dyno This Monday-2/8
Yes...I've ran this same set-up before only with a smallish cam (.740ish with less duration). I didn't want to post what it made...no hints...lol.
I screwed up and put a cast crank in it...260 passes later...kaboom. Broke it into 7 pieces, ruined a 4-bolt CJ block, bent all the rods, smacked the heads in a couple of spots...intake and valve covers were ok...lol.

BTDT ! Put a single 300 shot on my 604 C-head 1x4 combo. Took it to Musi to dyno on spray. The Ford Motorsport crank had many years and runs on her. after 1 1486hp pull it looked like the bolt on the mandrel had come loose. That wasnt the case. I now have a 598 with a Bryant crank.

Yes they have...I bought them used. The original owner had them flowed...said they were around 380ish on the intake.richter69 wrote:heads been ported?

The dyno is a DTS that is about 2 years old.
Lots of good guesses so far...keep 'em coming...I'm grinning from ear to ear.
