Mr Bamber finished second in the 4x4 modifed pulling class today at the National Farm Machinery Show with his Ford hemi powered truck. I am not sure if he is on here but remember speeking with him at the winter seminar in owensboro a couple years ago.

I haven't seen Dave on this site, or the old one, to the best of my memory. However, he is certainly a class act and to this day we appreciate him coming and sharing knowledge with us at the 2008 Winter Tech Seminar. I'm glad he did well at the Farm Machinery Show Way to go Dave

Whats the name of his truck??
I went last year to the NFMS, there were a few Fords in the 4x4 class.
IMHO too many tractors, Not enough trucks
50 classes of tractors, 1 4x4 truck class It was funny watchin the John Deere guys whine and cry then the Massey's and AGCO's beat up on them
the multi engine tractors were cool though....LOTS of breakage.

Can't remember the name of the truck but it is a maroon newer model superduty body with his new engine and new billet heads he machined.
As for there only being one class of 4x4 trucks vs all the tractors it is a farm show and tractors have been the main part of the show for as long as i remember. There are also two wheel modified truck that pull and I believe two of the top three in that class were also fords.

Re: Congrats to Mr Dave Bamber!!!
yeah the 2wd's are cool too, And SUPER loud.
I know the tractors are a big part of it, and the crowd likes them but there are just too many of them is all. Maybe just too much of the same JD's and Case's. There is the odd perkins massey, and old school allis which is very cool to see.
The dissapointing fact is that you dont get even get to see the smoke. I guess they want the crowd to be able to breathe whats with that?
I really liked walkin around and checkin all the farm show out though....super cool, and you could go everyday and see stuff you didn't before...big place. I'll probably go again but now i dont get my advanced tickets.

A couple of the guys from our team visited the NFMS last year. Last year and this year there was a Dutch guy driving a US Pro Stock.
For the 2010 season a team from here (Intertechno Lambada, 4 KB Hemi's with 14-71's on them) is going to run the full schedule for the Unlimited modified class in the NTPA competition. That means that they will have to drive against Voreis, Purser, Jostock , Slagh , Veney, Archer etc....
