Weiand tunnel ram MSD clearance

I have read where the MSD pro-billet 8580 distributer will not clear a Tunnel ram,I'm putting a WEAIND 1993 460 T/R on my 472.I have seen one work on an Offy on a jet boat,but haven't seen one yet with the Weiand.The MSD website says to use a 8433 cap, I believe for extra clearance,but haven't tried it yet being I'm just getting the parts together now.Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure about your TR,but most of the MSD clearance problems talked about are on the TFS A Head deal.

The Big Cap MSD Stuff won't fit on a Boss 9 with a weiand TR, Need to use the small cap stuff.

I just bought a small cap pro billet for my tunnel ram and it fits. It won't have much room but it will fit.

I just read on an old MSD tech forum ( oct,2005 ),that it is possible to use the msd 8433 cap and 8467 rotor as a replacement for the large cap 0n the 8580 distributor.Hope this will help someone else too.
