Not sure but, it could be a 352. Only way to be sure is to measure bore or stroke.
Re: ? on 63 model 390 heads
I've never seen a block that didn't say either 352 or 105 or 501. Should say this on the front drivers side of block just below cylinder deck surface. Otherwise I'd guess somebody ground the numbers off. If the block has a 105 or 501 number where the 352 usually is then the block is a later block likely a service replacement depending on the history of the whole deal. The head casting number you posted is a desirable one. As chuck said the only real way to tell what the short block is to measure bore and stroke. Hope this helps

Thanks guys he came by this after noon said he had someone to look at it and all the numbers on the block, intake ,heads. manifolds, and the automatic tranmission and told him it was a 390 and it was the later 63 model because it had the alternator bolt hole in the head but the hole engine and trans is matching for 63.

FE Casting #'s
My Ford manual shows the C3AE cyl. head casting as being used on the 406 and 427 early engines. It was cast in 7 variations from C3AE-6090-C (406), and 427 was C3AE-6090-D,G,H,J,K Depending on the exact casting they changed the valve size, chamber, port size. But these are listed as a performance head not a standard head, so you have a desireable casting, especially if you were doing a #'s match restoration project.
