Thanks for the compliments guys. The car is as old as me. I try telling my wife I'm a restored classic too.
The only thing I see wrong is you still running stock front suspension in stock location, now if you take the upper A arms and lower them to the shelby position it will handle better and keep the wheels strait up and down when in launch mode, I found that out when I did mine makes for much better runs, mine is like driving a slot car now......

This site rocks. That's the first I ever heard of that. Thanks for the tip. I plan to put in the rollerized spring perches this winter and I'll look into doing that then as well.

well not much else to tell. it ran a 8.98@150.57 on a 150 shot oct 17th. all steel body. 2950lbs still has the factory dash and am radio that lights up when u turn the power on. kind of cool i think. 7.50 certified chassis. i think it will run low 8s. maybe this sunday.

My toy.. late '07 American Racecars 240" swingarm. 588 alky injected. Best 1/8 so far of 4.66 @ 146.5 1.03 60' on motor at 2050 lbs. No spray or boost.

Working 7 days a week. I lost my computer at work also. Don't get home until 10:00 every night all week long. Doesn't leave much time for anything. I do plan to come back to the Bash, hope I can afford it. I've still got to get my gears adn a new delay box in the car. Good to hear from you man, can't wait to see you and Sooz again.
